We're going to give you the insider's tips on restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, live bands, jazz, bbq, nightlife, the zoo, and everything that is Kansas City - or as the locals call it, just good old "KC".
Kansas City Tourism has really grown over the last 3 years with the addition of the all new Power and Light District located in the downtown KC area. Many new restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and shopping areas have been opening up as close as they can get to the district. The P&L District is basically a giant football stadium shaped oval in downtown KC that has an open courtyard where tourists can grab a beer at a beer cart, walk around, sit on plush couches around a fire pit or even catch a live band on the Kansas City Live! stage. That open courtyard is surrounded by various nightclubs and bars including a dueling piano bar, a bar with a swimming pool, and a Kansas City Irish Pub. There are several things that involve Kansas City tourism in that area of town and it's a great place to start!
